ManTech Deputy Program Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Deputy Program Manager (DPM) IV to join our team in the Washington DC, Fort Meade, or Northern Virginia.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assists the Program Manager (PM) with the quality and efficiency of the technical execution and business processes for the contract

  • Assist the PM with organizational authority, resource management, and oversight to execute contract requirements and respond to Government issues, concerns, or problems

  • Tasks contractor personnel, supervises ongoing technical efforts, and manages overall contract performance for optimal use of assigned resources and subcontractors

  • Directly manages the efforts of the TDL Managers, ensuring effective communication to achieve program objectives

  • Manages the efforts of the ITAR Compliance Team and the program's Master Scheduler, ensuring ITAR issues are promptly identified and resolved and that the overarching program schedule is accurately maintained in real-time

  • Provides direction and mentorship to the TDL Managers, ITAR Team, and Master Scheduler and receives direction from the Program Manager and other program leaders

  • Coordinates with the Business Operations Director IV

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Management, STEM, or related field

  • Seven or more (7+) years of related experience

  • If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required

  • If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent

  • Experience with FEDSIM-managed Task Orders

  • Experienced with Task Delivery Letter (TDL)-based Task Orders or high-dollar-global support of large programs

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI security clearance.

The projected compensation range for this position is $128,100-$181,900. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
