KPMG is currently seeking a Director to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead thought leadership, training, and methodology development, and lead end-to-end business development activities involving the blend of technology financial management

  • Develop, execute, project manage and communicate to senior leadership strategies to optimize and automate the use of financial data for financial reporting and operations

  • Lead and review engagement work products to include developed models, generated reports, reconciliations, visualizations and visualizations for accuracy and efficiency

  • Develop solutions to be leveraged across teams and lead case studies over financial data and system issues related to posting logic, USSGL compliance, data management, and processes

  • Provide guidance to a mid-sized or large team to analyze complex data, financial information, and system outputs and determine their effect on business processes, controls and accounting treatment; communicate results to senior management

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight years of experience across Federal financial management, reporting, auditing, or audit readiness

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; CPA, CGFM, CDFM certification preferred

  • Extensive experience leading mid to large sized teams, managing executive level client relationships, leading business development and strategic growth initiatives

  • Experience in leading project engagements, staff development, internal financial controls, business process analysis, and financial business systems

  • Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading financial practices

  • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements

  • Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance
