V2X Enterprise Knowledge Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Overview

Create, develop, implement, and maintain an enterprise-wide Knowledge Management program in line with the knowledge management guidance and requirements. Research, identify, validate, and document the current state and preferred future state of Knowledge Management across the Enterprise. Conduct gap analyses and make recommendations for transition planning options. Provide program and project management support to contract and CSO leadership. Develop innovative solutions to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain program governance across a multi-project IT portfolio

  • Promote best practice IT development and O&M procedures

  • Lead IT team members; support the Government in setting expectations, defining roles and responsibilities, providing tactical guidance and/or mentoring as needed

  • Balance resource requirements and available resources across multiple matrixed initiatives based on portfolio priorities

  • Coordinate with government leads to appropriately engage non-IT resources

  • Provide direct project management for surge initiatives and stewardship activities

  • Support client leadership in the iterative refinement of the IT portfolio vision and resulting initiative prioritization

  • Define and regularly refine the architecture and resource requirements necessary to achieve vision objectives

Qualifications

  • Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field; high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma and five (5) years’ work experience in a similar field may be substituted for degree requirement

  • Experience:

  • Two (2) years related experience

  • Knowledge of management experience

  • Experience developing Information Technology (IT) strategic plans

  • Working Environment

  • U.S. citizenship is required

  • A current Top Secret clearance

  • A current Full-Scope Polyraph

  • Work in an operationally sensitive environment

  • Work outdoors, in confined space, irregular schedule, working off-shift/rotating schedule, operation of motor vehicles, work in a noisy environment, work under unusual lighting conditions, work near sources of ionizing radiation, work near sources of non-ionizing radiation, headgear or head protection, safety glasses or eye protection, hearing protection, gloves or hand protection, safety shoes or protective foot gear

  • Operate standard office equipment, such as a computer, copy machine and printer

  • Function in an office environment in a stationary position approximately 50 percent of the time or more

  • Work well in team environments including demonstrate the ability to function independently with minimal supervision

  • May be required to successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview, and an extensive background investigation

  • May be required to undergo successful occupational testing to include an aptitude test, writing test, personality inventory, and interview Office
