Job Description

The strategic industry partnership lead associate will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of our three-pronged housing equity industry partner strategy. This position requires a dynamic individual who has a clear understanding of our corporate strategy to address housing equity and stability key obstacles who can effectively manage complex partnerships and drive strategic initiatives.

  • Program Management of our three-strategic industry partnership engagements: Develop and implement operational processes to support our three-pronged housing equity industry partner strategy that aims to lify our corporate objectives. Identify and execute continuous improvements to enhance the program's effectiveness and scalability.

  • Scheduling and Planning: Develop and deploy tools / resources that facilitate the coordination of key engagements, ensuring adequate coverage and availability. Work closely with internal stakeholders and event organizers to align partnership strategies with our corporate objectives. Effectively plan, confirm and execute Fannie Mae's presence at external partner engagements in a timely manner.

  • Material Development and ongoing enhancements: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and align materials for internal and external engagements that effectively tell Fannie Mae's story. Ensure the availability of appropriate and tailored materials based on the market or audience. Track and maintain a repository of materials for easy access.

  • Communication and Coordination:Implement a centralized platform or system to improve communication and coordination among internal / external speakers, program managers, and event organizers. Streamline communication channels to ensure efficient information flow. Manage day-to-day activities and processes with internal partners, ensuring smooth and productive relationships.

  • Training and Resources: Oversee internal partner enablement, providing the necessary tools, resources and learning for success. Continue to identify areas for improvement and work with relevant stakeholders to address new / enhanced learning needs across internal external teams.

  • Success Measurement: Design and implement clear benchmarks and attribution models to track the progress of the industry partnership engagements. In partnership with key stakeholders, define and document success measures and metrics to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the Ambassador program. Report results to various organizations across the company to ensure better internal awareness and updates.

  • Scaling and Expansion:In partnership with the team, create systems to actively recruit and select individuals to expand the roster of external speakers. Foster a diverse and inclusive group of speakers to reach a wider audience and make a greater impact in promoting equitable and sustainable housing.

Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the primary and secondary market that include the stakeholders across the housing industry ecosystem

  • Knowledge of Fannie Mae's Housing Equity Strategies, Equitable Housing Finance Plans, including our corporate objectives focused on housing equity and stability

  • Knowledge of industry-specific trends and market dynamics

  • Experience with partner segmentation and performance reporting

  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives.

  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.

  • Performance Measurement including evaluating programs, evaluating vendors, and defining and measuring KPIs.

  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.

  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI

  • Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.

  • Sales, Marketing, and PR including marketing products, social media marketing, creating collateral, planning and developing caigns, managing the media, etc.

  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion.

  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions

  • Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process.

  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal.
