Robert Half Help Desk Support Spec IV in Washington, District Of Columbia

Description

We are in search of a Help Desk Support Spec IV to join our team located in Washington, DC. This role is pivotal in providing first-line technical support to our customers, dealing with inquiries regarding account administration, software distribution, and system status. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment arrangement.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance

• Oversee and update the problem tracking tool to ensure accurate record-keeping

• Provide solutions to complex problems and make routine recommendations

• Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing data to readily provide solutions

• Report recurring issues to management for further investigation

• Provide training and guidance to other team members as a resource person

• Maintain customer credit records and process credit applications

• Handle network connectivity issues and provide solutions

• Liaise with supervisors, peer groups, and customers on a daily basis

• Ensure security protocols are adhered to in the handling of customer data.

Requirements • Must possess strong Customer Service skills.

• Management experience is essential.

• Proficiency in Documentation and Procedures.

• Prior experience in providing Technical Support.

• Familiarity with Quality standards and Human Resources (HR) Administration.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suites.

• Supervising experience is required.

• Ability to deliver effective Presentations.

• Knowledge of 'About Time' software.

• Experience in Workstation Support.

• Strong Leadership Skills.

• Understanding of Security protocols.

• Ability to act as a Liaison between different departments.

• Basic Engineering knowledge.

• Excellent Communication Skills.

• Familiarity with SQL and Active Directory.

• Ability to Answer customer queries efficiently.

• Experience in Deskside Support.

• Knowledge of printing procedures.
