Google HR Compliance Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in human resources, employment law, or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience in HR compliance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working on cross-functional project teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on drive and execution.

  • Proven ability to work with multiple teams across functions and geographies.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent investigative, auditing, and problem-solving skills; comfortable leading through ambiguity.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$234,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Own and deliver outcomes of multiple compliance related projects/program areas.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of current federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., EEO, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, OFCCP).

  • Design and deliver strategies for HR systems, policies, and frameworks to ensure alignment with applicable labor and employment impacting commitments, standards, laws, regulations, and company objectives.

  • Conduct regular audits of HR practices and records to identify potential areas of non-compliance. Investigate and resolve any compliance issues in a thorough and timely manner.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate compliance reports, documentation, and records as required for internal and external review.
