ManTech Junior Research Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Research Analyst to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducts comprehensive research and analyzes data to support decision making and strategic planning.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize information, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Conducting in-depth research on various topics, including market trends, industry analysis, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies

  • Gathering data from multiple sources, including databases, reports, websites, and primary research

  • Analyzing and interpreting data using statistical methods and qualitative techniques

  • Identifying key trends, patterns, and insights from research findings; developing reports, presentations, and summaries to communicate research findings to stakeholders

  • Assisting in the implementation of research projects, including survey development and data collection; and supporting the development and maintenance of research databases and knowledge repositories.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline.

  • High School and 4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of required degree.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data.

  • Proficiency in using statistical software and data analysis tools.

  • Proficient in conducting research using various sources, including databases, online platforms, and academic journals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline.

  • Familiarity with research methodologies, data visualization techniques, and statistical analysis. Knowledge of data collection and survey design.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Familiarity with qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups).

Clearance Requirements:

  • This role requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
