KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.
Responsibilities:
Lead complex enterprise environments from an information security perspective across the U.S. Federal government space
Interface and lead discussion with high-level client executives and hands-on technology practitioners to bring meaningful, strategic change in the sphere of information protection, data security and privacy, and business continuity
Lead the design, development, of policies and procedures for clients, drawing from regulations and guidance such as FISMA and the supporting NIST Special Publications series
Lead project management for cyber security technology and process assessments/implementations, including related to security architecture, cloud security, DevSecOps, risk assessment, incident response, Risk Management Framework (RMF), penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, vendor and third-party risk management, data privacy and information governance, and program delivery.
Support the process of identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities
Qualifications:
A minimum of five years of experience in IT Security Knowledge of the IT Protection implementation methodologies; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Functional certification such as MCSE, CCNA, CNE, CCIE, Archer/ArcSight, CISSP, CEH, CPT, CISM, CISA, CIPP, GIAC, GSEC, and/or GCFW certifications preferred
Extensive knowledge base in operations, systems evaluation and architecture
Exceptional interpersonal, team building, mentoring, and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives
Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret Clearance
