You Are:
As an XDR (Extended Detection and Response) Transformation Lead in the AFS Cyber Practice, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, design, and implementation of next-generation security solutions for clients across the Federal space. You will lead cross-functional teams in the adoption of XDR technologies, integrating advanced threat detection, incident response, and security automation to enhance client security posture. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to understand business needs, define security transformation roadmaps, and ensure seamless deployment of XDR solutions that align with client objectives. The role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and SOC (Security Operations Center) operations, along with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Here Is What You Need:
Bachelors Degree or 10 years of equivalent industry experience
Experience working within a managed security service environment supporting the Federal Government
Well versed and skilled in MSFT Office (Word, PPT and Excel) for deliverables
Experience with: Federal Government agencies and/or security compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, etc.
Bonus Points If:
Advanced Degree
10+ years of industry experience
Strong analytical and communication skills to enable positive external and internal communications in oral, presentation, and written form
Strong organizational skills, with capability to work independently to plan, structure, organize and execute on pursuit opportunities
Certifications: Security Technology (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) ad/or Project Management (PMP, PGMP)
Expert understanding of sales and business development process
Experience leveraging and using the Microsoft Security Suite, Splunk Enterprise Security, or similar
Past Government experience
Problem Solving skills
Understanding of industry leading and emerging technologies that enable services
Confidence to ask tough questions and challenge teams, especially when a team’s solution is not clear or comprehensiv

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$146,100—$278,500 USD
