ManTech Operational Test and Evaluation Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia

ManTech is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Test and Evaluation Analyst for a prime contract in support of our government customer in Washington, DC and we would love to have you join our team!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide Operational T&E expertise on a wide range of activities and missions supporting systems for border security to include test planning, test execution, data management, and test reporting

  • Perform Test and Evaluation Technical Analysis on a multi-disciplinary team providing technical advisory and lead system integrator technical oversight to the government test and evaluation division lead

  • Develop sound test data collection approaches through Mission Based Test Design (MBTD) to ensure that data collected during test can be analyzed and provide objective evidence of system performance

  • Perform MBTD requirements analysis to include data required to quantify and identify the measures of performance, linkages to subtasks, and document test requirements

  • Perform MBTD test design per government instructions and templates to include methodology, vignettes, resources, limitations, data sheets for test execution, draft the full range of documents

  • Analyze the source date for input to Test and Evaluation Master Plans

  • Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings to review software development schedules and ensure alignment/integration with planned systems engineering and test activities

  • Work with Government clients to establish and monitor the program’s execution towards milestones, key events, significant accomplishment criteria, and coordinate information between organizations

  • Support the technical review process and assess performance and work products

  • Identify software development risks, assist in joint SW/HW impact analyses and develop mitigation strategies to reduce system development acquisition risks

  • Support system level test objectives development and assess/verify test performance

  • Serve as a key member on T&E Working Groups and represent other key T&E Integrated Product Teams/Working Groups

  • The candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end System Development Life Cycle

Minimum Qualifications:

  • More than 5 years relevant technical experience in test and evaluation planning, development & execution in operational test environments, with preference with military or government activity

  • This position requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, the ability to plan and organize work, and excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Requires a detail-oriented self-starter experienced in supporting/interfacing with senior Government leaders and other technical/business professionals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Defense Acquisition University (DAU) or DHS Level II Test and Evaluation Certification / Equivalency

  • Previous Customs and Border Protection (CBP) experience is highly

  • Experience with DHS joint operations, DHS acquisition policy, DHS systems engineering lifecycle

  • Technical writing experience

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint are required. Schedule risk assessment and business analysis software experience

Clearance requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain CBP public trust prior to starting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time.
