Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Washington, District Of Columbia

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in the hospitality industry, based in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll functions, processing customer applications and maintaining accurate customer and employee records.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall payroll functions for the company

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, and Ceridian systems for payroll processing

• Administer 401k - RRSP Administration and manage accounting functions

• Carry out auditing processes to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing

• Manage Benefit Functions for employees, ensuring they receive their entitled benefits

• Coordinate and process Payroll for Union members

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer inquiries related to payroll

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator, preferably within the Hospitality industry

• Expertise in ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experience in handling Union Payroll

• Strong understanding of accounting functions

• Proficient in conducting audits

• Experience in 401k and RRSP administration

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
