Principal (Federal Health)

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health and social services agencies, is seeking a Principal who has significant experience working with federal agencies as a leader and Program Manager. You will work closely with the PFS team and federal healthcare clients to develop integrated program plans and execute on delivery of programs that span capability areas. Experience with staff development and resource management, teaming partnership engagement, and financial management of FFP and T&M contracts will equip the individual for success in the role.  All applicants must reside in the U.S.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working with clients to develop a strategy and roadmap for a transformation program

  • Supporting the client in developing operational models to execute on the program vision

  • Anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions

  • Managing staffing and project financials

  • Developing, maintaining, and managing senior client relationships

  • Managing delivery quality for cross functional delivery teams

  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop performance measures, communications, content, and training in support of project implementation

  • Working with clients to review and develop guidance and policies that will facilitate understanding, adoption, and implementation of new processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience (experience in health care, government service, project management, or consulting preferred)

  • Active PMP certification

  • Demonstrated experience as a Culture Builder, Team Builder and Leader

  • Experience and knowledge of consulting methodologies such as process improvement, change management, project management, and Lean Six Sigma

  • Experience participating in the development of at least one complex organizational design or new departmental stand-up effort

  • Experience planning and facilitating large client meeting meetings with clinically focused leadership teams

  • VA or other Federal Healthcare Market experience

  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task across multiple areas

  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgement, problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Strong customer relationship management skills

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication skills and professional writing skills

  • Ability to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship

  • Ability to obtain a public trust
