V2X Program Analyst (Mid) in Washington, District Of Columbia

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • The candidate will support the Navy International Programs Office (IPO) Foreign Visit.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Process foreign visit requests received by Navy IPO through the OSD Foreign Visits System or other means.

  • Maintain expertise in the International Visits Program policy and processes regarding one-time, recurring, and extended visitors in accordance with DoDD 5230.11 and DoDD 5230.20 and any successor documents.

  • Provide support to the preparation of Delegation of Disclosure Authority Letters for foreign visitors as well as for International Agreements on an occasional basis.

  • Maintain expertise in the organizational structure of the DoD and DoN to ensure understanding of key DoN organizations and activities and their hierarchical relationship to other organizations in their chain of command.

  • IPO 01 does require reporting to the office 5 days a week.

  • MS Office products and applications unique to DoD and Navy IPO

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Five additional years’ experience can offset the Bachelor’s Degree requirement (10 years total of relevant experience).

    Experience:

  • Minimum of five years in SA/FMS programs, acquisition support, international affairs, political science, business, and/or engineering. This includes experience in areas such as analysis and evaluation of FMS programs, recommending and ensuring the efficient execution of programs, FMS sales, engineering, technical and logistics support, repair, return and management of high-value inventory, equipment integration, and procurement, FMS case development, execution, and reporting, technology transfer and export control, and supporting strategic initiatives.

    Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to secure a secret clearance

  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data system

    Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous Foreign Military Sales Experience

  • Experience with disclosure reporting and foreign visit requests is a plus outlined in DoDD 5230.11 and DoDD 5230.20 and any successor documents

  • Former DoD experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of security related to Visit Access Requests (VARs)

  • English language skills to communicate and negotiate with vendors.

  • Ability to train, lead projects, and direct employees.

  • Customer service-oriented, detail-focused, proactive behavior, and multi-tasking capability.
