Honeywell Program Management Specialist - Government Relations in Washington, District Of Columbia

As a Program Management Specialist here at Honeywell, you support our Fluorine Products (FP) business through working on regulatory and advocacy needs. This role reports into the Government Relations team and will work on various project management, meeting coordination, action item tracking, file management, scheduling, expense reporting, and other administrative tasks.

This role will be critical in supporting various regulatory and advocacy projects primarily in the US but also in several global locations. You'll work out of either our Washington, DC or Baton Rouge, LA office on a hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days of employment, external hires will work 100% onsite.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This individual will be involved with and lead the following strategic and administrative activities:

  • Leading meetings and keeping running action item lists to hold team members accountable – driving actions and facilitating strategic discussion

  • Preparing materials for meetings

  • Development and support of Management Operating System for program

  • Strategic planning for the functioning of team and program

  • Preparation of materials for leadership updates

  • Evaluation of program structure

  • Understanding of project objectives and ability to prioritize tasks

  • Ability to manage action items and influence others

  • Organizing file structure and maintaining structure

  • Facilitating communication between teams

  • Invoicing and budget support

  • Calendaring, scheduling, and expense reporting for senior leaders

The annual base salary range for this position is $69,000 - $85,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in program management or a related role

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Political Science, or similar disciplines

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Background in administrative tasks, project management, advocacy campaigns, and organizing complex file systems.

  • Strong ability to drive discrete tasks independently and work across organizations.
