ICF Project Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Description

The Project Manager (PM) will support the delivery of a Financial Management Segment Architecture refresh. The PM will support the monitoring and developing the relationship between our federal PM and the projects stakeholders. He/She will provide guidance and direction of day-to-day activities to ensure we are responding to client requests and concerns. The PM will ensure quality and deliverables align with the contract’s requirements. This position will require collaboration with our customers and stakeholders to prioritize tasks, balance supporting resources, and employ risk and issue mitigation strategies to achieve our customers goals. This role will work in a hybrid work environment and is partly based at the client site in Washington, DC.

RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Provide project management support to facilitate project performance and execution

  • Create and manage project plan including WBS, schedule, and development of deliverables

  • Monitor and evaluate project performance and keep federal lead abreast of any potential issues

  • Provide scheduled status updates and progress reports to federal PM and other stakeholders

  • Develop presentations and facilitate project meetings (to include yet not limited to kickoff meeting, stakeholder engagement meetings, integrated project team meetings, project status meetings, final recommendation meeting)

  • Manage meeting scheduling, agenda and meeting materials, meeting minutes, and follow-up action-items documentation and management

  • Manage and evaluate on-going project artifacts and deliverables for quality and timeliness

  • Submit all draft documentation for review by Federal Project Manager prior to stakeholder delivery

  • Develop and manage artifact and deliverables review and approval process

  • Present artifact, documents and finding to IPT at the end of each phase for feedback and validation Coordinating cross-functional meetings of personnel related to project.

  • Facilitating sessions to effectively resolve issues between staff and customers.

  • Allocating appropriate resources to ensure projects are completed within given time and budget.

  • Reporting status, develop project-related documentation and implement lessons learned.

  • Participating in corporate business development activities.

  • Developing Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Status Reports as required by the contract.

  • Updating and maintaining production and quality metrics of projects.

PROFESSIONAL MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PROJECT MANAGER:

  • 7 years in managing business and technical projects

  • 3 years of experience supporting Financial Systems

  • US Citizenship required by federal contract

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in managing a technical team that will be performing an architectural Assessment Alternatives and a Business Needs Assessment.

  • Experience facilitating meetings and documenting meeting minutes

  • Ability to work in a complex fast paced technical environment

  • Ability to work well in a changing environment with changing priorities

  • Excellent attention to detail, exceptional time management skills, and proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to multi-task, reflect positive attitude, and disciplined work ethic

  • Ability to deal with stakeholders with enthusiasm and professionalism

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are essential

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$106,004.00 - $180,207.00
