Aston Carter Proposal Writer in Washington, District Of Columbia

Our client in Washington DC is looking for a Proposal Writer to join their team. This is a full time permanent role that is hybrid in Washington DC. Qualified candidates will have an interview scheduled within 48 hours of resume submission.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in proposal writing required.

  • Must have experience in Architecture, engineering, or construction industry.

  • Must have experience in Shipley proposal process.

  • Govwin, sam.gov experience preferred.

  • DOD experience required: DoS preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop compliance matrices and project relevancy assessments for complex pursuits.

  • Review RFPs, Statements of Work, and specifications, demonstrating a deep understanding of key terms and acronyms.

  • Identify design deliverable stages and prioritize long lead items within proposals.

  • Lead content development for both external and internal data calls.

  • : Interface directly with clients in a professional manner, requiring minimal management oversight.

  • Lead kickoff calls and color team reviews, showcasing your expertise in RFP requirements.

  • Coordinate technical inputs with design staff, ensuring alignment with standards and expectations.

  • Track subconsultant inputs.

  • Research and provide extensive inputs for social media and website content.

  • Understand the correlation between different media channels (e.g., social media and website).

  • Follow templates while infusing creativity that aligns with our brand.

  • Create simple infographics and enhance existing ones.

  • Attend industry events and conferences, representing our firm knowledgeably.

  • Stay informed about industry news and identify relevant webinars.

  • Engage with technical team members, asking thoughtful questions and actively participating in projects.

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of industry trends.
