Primary Focus

Responsible for guidance and facilitation of SAFe Principles. Plan and manage the work, and values to uphold while promoting alignment, collaboration, and delivery across large numbers of agile teams, currently aligned in two Agile Release Trains. The first aligns teams focused on enabling operational insight by increasing data discoverability through enterprise search or query. The second aligns teams focused on enabling the operational analysis and triage of data through visualization, enrichments, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Agile cadence, ensuring participation from team members and key stakeholders across the ART.

• Guides multiple functional Agile teams, within the ART, from backlog refinement and planning activities through development, testing, and release deployment with responsibility for all aspects of teams' productivity related to coordination across teams.

• Manage and optimize the flow of value through the “team of teams.”

• Drive common reporting, metrics, and work management tools (JIRA) across teams.

• Assist in tracking the execution of features across teams.

• Maintain visual progress metrics indicating velocity, burn-up, etc.

• Communicate calendars for sprints and Program Increments (PIs).

• Facilitate PI Planning readiness and execution.

• Drive PI Planning Action Item completion.

• Publish PI brief/debrief communications that outline the business value, objectives, and goals targeted and achieved by the program.

• Oversee and ensure PI planning readiness product vision and roadmap, architectural runway, backlogs, business value assessments, and event logistics.

• Facilitate scaling meetings (scrum of scrum, product owner sync, overall retrospectives, demonstrations).

• Help manage risks and dependencies; escalate and track impediments.

• Coach and encourage collaborations with leaders, teams, and scrum masters on Agile practices and mindsets.

• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency.

• Facilitate retrospectives and drive the teams to implement the process improvements identified during those meetings.

• Collaborate with product and technology teams to ensure the product vision translates into a workable Roadmap and Program Summary Master Schedule (PSMS) that is executable across the program.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with Atlassian Software products (JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk, etc.)

• Experience supporting agile teams supporting the SAFe methodology

• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed SLAs

• Must have active Top Secret or TS/SCI.

• Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Pay Range

USD $138,000.00 - USD $155,000.00 /Yr.
