Hilton Sales Manager, Mid Market - Washington Hilton in Washington, District Of Columbia

Washington Hilton (https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/dcawhhh-washington-hilton/) is looking for their next Sales Manager!

Find our historic hotel within blocks of Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan. The White House and National Mall are less than two miles away. We feature a seasonal outdoor pool deck complete with fire pits and a kids pool. Visit LivingWell Health Club for a choice of exercise classes. Sightseeing buses pick up at the hotel, and we sell tour tickets in the lobby.

A Sales Manager with Washington Hilton is responsible for representing the hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Pay Rate: $65,000- $68,000 per year - [final offer based on experience]

What will I be doing?

As a Sales Manager, you would be responsible for representing the hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This position would be handling 150 - 400 rooms on peak and specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc.
  • Initiate new sales, prospects and qualifies leads and solicits potential clients
  • Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts
  • Conduct property site visits and answer questions
  • Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost business for the hotel(s)
  • Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals
  • Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts #LI-AT3
