TEKsystems Security Service Technician in Washington, District Of Columbia

Description:

Our client is continuously growing their footprint in the DMV area with healthcare being one of their largest areas of success. As they continue to grow they are looking for a strong Security Service Technician. This Security Service Technician will primarily be embedded (onsite) at a hospital in Washington DC, with some of their duties including visiting other customer sites. Job duties will include troubleshooting, maintaining, and servicing equipment including Gentec security equipment, Galaxy access controls, and Aphone intercom systems.

Top Skills Details:

  1. 3-5 years of security experience including troubleshooting, maintenance, and service in Commercial environments (hospitals preferred).

  2. Able to work with other installers, supervisors, and project leaders who are dedicated to a large Commercial and/or National Accounts project.

  3. Proficient/experienced with Gentec security equipment, Galaxy access controls, and Aphone intercom systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Understanding of electric circuits and wiring in low voltage applications.

Basic understanding of computer networking.

Knowledge of cabling including: Cat5e, Cat6, and Coaxial.

Basic work planning and analytic skills.
