UnitedHealth Group Senior Business Analyst - National Remote in Washington, District Of Columbia

We are actively seeking multiple Senior Business Analysts of various backgrounds (e.g. Computer Science, Communication, Psychology, Education etc.) to drive program success for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Digital Transformation Center (DTC) OMEGA program. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be the primary relationship manager across diverse audiences from technology partners, customers, end users, executive leadership, and vendors, for the OMEGA program.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Relationship manager and primary Stakeholder POC for VA Leadership, technology partners, customers, end users, executive leadership, and vendors. Drive program success by identifying areas for improvement obtained through surveys, team input and other types of communication

  • Liase between VA business and VA leadership for approval to proceed

  • Facilitate meetings with appropriate OMEGA Teams, VA leadership, VA business and stakeholders, to obtain final determination and team handoff

  • Use VA approved tools to maintain documents.(contracts, license purchases, agreements, purchase/funding receipts, reports, presentations etc.), for VA reference and audits as well as for activity/communication tracking

  • Responsible for managing, maintaining and assessing Marketplace products

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree plus a minimum of 7 years of experience, Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 5 years of experience, or 8 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing relationships across diverse audiences from technology partners, customers, end users, executive leadership, and vendors to objectively communicate project deliverables, expectations, and contingencies

  • One industry recognized cloud/cyber certification is (required) CCSK, Security+, SSCP, etc

  • Ability to communicate the requirements, feedback, and status of target

  • Ability to communicate timeline considerations, escalation levers, deliverable contingencies, and completion goals

  • Experience leveraging Agile best practices/methodologies to dynamically manage multiple projects with work in progress that may have dependencies

  • Ability to strategize across audiences by applying knowledge of business architecture and LCNC system of system engineering to identify, manage, and resolve solution delivery risks, future requirements, and prioritization change management

  • Communication/Skill Requirements:

  • Communicate

  • Timeline considerations, escalation levers, deliverable contingencies, and completion goals

  • Verbal communication maturity to understand your audience and communicate appropriately based on the context, role, rank, and requirements from a varied potential audience base

  • Witten communication maturity to understand your audience and communicate appropriately based on the context, role, rank, and requirements from a varied potential audience base. Must be able to clearly articulate dependencies in plain language with a call to action

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst, demonstrating a strong ability to facilitate business process improvements

  • Expert in creating meaningful visualizations based on target audience

  • Experience working with leadership, business stakeholders

  • 3+ years of experience using collaborative, process management and diagramming tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucid Chart etc

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven analytical skills, with a strong ability to analyze business processes and data

  • Knowledge of various cloud technologies, including Salesforce, Microsoft Platform, Appian, or Pega or various SaaS solutions

  • Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security Public Trust 2 or 4 (level will depend on your role)

  • All work must be conducted in the United States.

  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form.

  • Must be able to conduct work and be available in VA communication channels during (EST business hours)

California, Colorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Washington, or Washington D.C Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Washington, or Washington D.C residents is $104,700 to $190,400 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
