Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Navy Structural Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work will involve performing engineering analyses of customer mission and performance requirements to define UxV attributes in engineering terms.

• Perform engineering studies leading to the allocation of UxV attributes to UxV systems in terms of design direction, performance, configuration, space and weight, and arrangement. Perform design and engineering studies to identify the degree of UxV systems integration required to meet the mission requirements.

• Provide Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) of designs in the form of technical products such as drawings, conceptual and product engineering designs, calculations, schematics, reports, etc.

• Ensure structures can withstand the stresses and pressures imposed by use and the environment.

• Calculate stability, strength and rigidity and make sure the right materials are used for shipbuilding programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years professional experience in structural engineering

• Bachelor’s degree in applied Mechanics or Civil Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

• 15+ years of relevant engineering experience related to R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs for Navy shipbuilding and defense systems.

Clearance Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship

• Interim Top-Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret
