Summary This position serves as the Assistant Director of Logistics Management Services (LMS). The Assistant Director of LMS serves as a subject matter expert on department wide programs and facilities related services involve mail and fleet management, transportation and worldwide delivery services, property utilization and disposal program, warehousing moving services, logistics management, graphics, printing and distribution services. The duties and responsibilities of a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist generally include, but are not limited to, the following: * Responsible for providing oversight of mail management and printing related programs. * Coordinate services involving mail management, fleet management, transportation and worldwide delivery services management, property utilization and disposal program. * Provide solutions to warehousing, moving services, distribution services and logistics management. * Manage the Justice Management Division mail services program. * Manages the mail and warehousing services budget operating plans. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for the position of Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist, (GS-0346-14), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade. If you are a current Department of Justice employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is related to mail management related matters including mail delivery, develop mail policies, guidelines and operations, and managing a relocation and property disposal program. You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including Time-in-Grade, by the closing date of this announcement, 11/05/2024.
