· Audit and check for safety issues and follow Equipment Safety Checklist
· Follow TPM schedule to properly care for and maintain machinery
· Read Blue Prints and Work Instructions to the specified dimensions
· Grease, oil and clean equipment daily
· Set up & troubleshoot equipment
· Load and run Warner & Swasey’s, Acme’s, & Chuckers
· Check dimensions of parts during run by using necessary measuring instruments
· Use ERP system to look up parts and plan production
· Perform minor adjustments to machinery to meet specifications
· Locate setup bins and layout tools for preset up
· Get and dispose of material and scrap to and from work position
· Job on and off manufacturing orders
Audit 5S check lists regularly as required. Support 5S and safe work practices.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Essential
· High school diploma or GED, and one year of industrial manufacturing or quality inspection experience.
Process oriented with strong analytical capacity, and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Lotus Notes).
Detail oriented.
Ability to prioritize work and coordinate multiple tasks.
Basic knowledge of statistical tools such as averages, standard deviations and run-charts.
Basic communication skills.
Must be able to function in an independent role.
Customer focused.
Must be a self-starter and willingness to accept ownership of tasks.
Safety focused, need to understand and follow safety procedures and take responsibility for own safety.
Highly motivated and dependable.
Ability to read and understand policies, procedures and processes.
Familiarity with corrective action – 8D process.
Familiarity with Plant 3 valve design, assembly, testing.
· Familiarity of Lean and problem solving events, as well as Lean and Problem solving methodology training.
