SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to support NAVSEA O5T government Budget Financial Manager (BFM) in the Washington Navy Yard . Work will be Hybrid (3 days in person, 2 days remote). The ideal candidate will have a background in financial analysis within the Department of Defense (DoD).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct thorough financial analysis and reporting to track program expenditures and forecast future financial requirements.

• Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.

• Provide financial support to program leadership for decision-making.

• Track budgets, costs, and variances.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least 3+ years of experience in financial analysis within the DoD, preferably Navy.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with DoD financial management systems and processes such as WAWF, N-ERP, PBIS etc.

• Strong understanding of government contracting and compliance requirements.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Must have an ACTIVE Secret security clearance.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
