KBF Manager, Sales & Use Tax in Washington

KBF is currently seeking a Manager to join our Sales and Use Tax team.
The KBF Sales and Use Tax group offers a comprehensive range of services designed to support our client’s growth and expansion. Our services and projects are tailored to meet our clients' needs. Services include multistate expansion analysis, income/sales tax nexus analysis and planning, income/sales tax compliance, and representation in examinations. Responsibilities:
Provide sales and use tax consulting, including nexus studies, technical research, exposure quantification, voluntary disclosures, reverse sales tax audits, ASC 450 reviews, technology, planning and other sales and use related projects
Advise clients of the sales and use tax implications relating to their business objectives; recommend alternate courses of action, as well as identify different methods of complying with sales and use tax statutes and regulations
Serve as the primary client service contact for a portfolio of sales and use tax clients; proactively recognize opportunities to provide additional services
Manage delivery of accounting services to ensure technical accuracy and high-quality work product within budgetary and time constraints
Develop and manage client relationships by understanding their business operations and tailoring our services to their specific needs
Proactively manage project deadlines to ensure delivery of work product based on client expectations and statutory deadlines
Research and stay current on changes in the profession and US state tax law
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university & licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent in their home office state
Minimum of 5 years of tax experience in public accounting with a focus on Sales and Use Tax
Motivated, quick learner with strong communication skills and demonstrated professionalism
Able to work independently and as part of a team
