We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Hamptons office. The Project Manager will be responsible for management of all aspects of our Hamptons based projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for managing all aspects of a project and ensuring completion of projects on time and within budget for all scopes .
Ensuring o verall success of project including installation and system performance, verifying the vision of what was sold is comparable to what was installed .
Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently .
Act as the p rimary point of contact both internally and externally for assigned projects, communicate with other trades and contractors to maintain project status.
Manage labor schedules including scheduling of technicians , verifying timelines with other client vendors and coordinate accordingly to submit labor requests .
Manage financial aspects of all projects . Work alongside all project departments to match contract need s. Verify that labor hours used for projects are within b udg et .
Supervise direct reports of technicians including performance management, r eview and approve time entries for technicians working on assigned projects , e nsure hours match scope of work performed.
Assist sales in creation and management of change orders for each assigned project.
Maintain organization of project change s within CW, connect with various departments for project execution including changes with pro ject product, design, scope or staffing needs.
Determine a ction lists for assigned projects with clearly defined responsibilities for all stakeholders, scope of work, and expected completion dates .
Issu e punch lists for any remaining scope of work prior to client s moving in , provide weekly updates until all items have been satisfactorily completed following the clients move in.
Create applicable p roject audit s at project completion . Provide accounting team with full project and labor list for accurat e billing .
Perform q uality checks and testing of all installed items as projects progress. Ensure installations are done to EENY standards, including proper control of 3rd party systems .
Connect with service and sales team to issue a service contract with project completion. Work with service team for a ccurate warranty documentation .
P erform system training at the end of each project for the client .
Lead project c lose out meetings , verify that all documentation for the project is updated with any change orders that occurred over the course of the project. Mark any documentation red lines .
Job Qualifications
5 or more years of experience in the design, installation, and oversight of A/V projects, preferably in home automation.
Demonstrated experience using project management software and tools.
Prior experience using ConnectWise a plus.
Industry certifications a plus.
CAPM or PMP certification a plus.
Experience interacting with stakeholders at all levels; over communicator.
Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and able to multi-task conflicting critical requests.
OSHA 40 and SST certifications required or able to obtain within 3 months of employment.
Required to stand, walk, climb, sit, and use hands and fingers.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
