Trinity Health Clinical Nursing Supervisor PT Nights in Waterbury, Connecticut

Description:

At Saint Mary’s Hospital the Clinical Nurse Supervisor RN collaborates with the Clinical Managers to provide continuity of patient care by ensuring adequate resources are available on a shift-to-shift basis. This vital role also provides clinical support as the registered nurse responder for the Rapid Response Team.

What you will do:

· Acts as the patient throughput decision maker responsible for upholding decision-making processes related to management of appropriate bed assignments.

· Acts as off shift leader, rounding on units, answering both colleague and patient questions and upholding all policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree is preferred.

· Registered Nurse RN Licensure: Must hold a valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure.

· Experience: 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience to include intermediate/progressive/critical care, or nursing leadership is preferred.

· BLS or CPR certification: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross will be accepted.

Position Highlights and Benefits:

Part Time 24 Nights - 3 8-hour night shifts, every other weekend rotation
