Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys of customer equipment to determine lockout/ tagout requirements.
• Create diagrams illustrating lockout requirements.
• Provide necessary graphics and production details for placards and tags.
• Install placards and tags at customer sites.
• Travel to customer locations (average of 15+ days/month).

Skills:

• Prior lockout/ tagout experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Familiarity with the 7 primary energies.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understanding of various piping systems (Water, Steam, Chemical, etc.).
• Electrical background is important.
• Previous experience as a machine tool/automation builder is advantageous.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using MS Word and Excel.
