Actalent Wastewater Project Manager in Waterford, Michigan

Job Title: Wastewater Project ManagerJob Description

Manage engineering, construction, and design assignments on various municipal water/wastewater/stormwater projects in Metro Detroit. Direct engineers and technical support staff in the review and preparation of plans and specs for these projects. Lead from planning and procurement through startup and construction. Prepare cost estimates, perform construction monitoring, and coordinate field activities. Review proposed contracts to determine significant parameters, time schedules, etc. Monitor fees and budgets and report problems to the appropriate department managers. Main office will be in Waterford but this person would go to various municipalities throughout Metro Detroit, and could also work out of their Detroit office as well, but would be asked to be in Waterford multiple times per week.

Work Environment

8am-5pm. Strong culture, encourage collaboration and celebrations among small offices. They prefer having people in office majority of week, but could be flexible for the right person who doesn't need training and could allow 1-2 days/remote or to job sites. 31 people in Waterford office.
