Position Purpose:

If you're a Registered Nurse (RN) who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and enjoys building meaningful patient relationships, this full-time position at MercyOne Northeast Iowa is for you! Join our collaborative healthcare team, where RNs and patient care assistants (PCAs) deliver exceptional care to patients and their families.

What You Will Do:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in an acute care setting.

  • Supervise and coordinate care provided by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) .

  • Facilitate effective communication with physicians, family members, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Hours/Schedule:

  • Full-time, day and night shifts

  • Every 3rd weekend rotation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license required

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • New RN graduates encouraged to apply – no previous experience required
