Mozaic Help Desk Technician in Waterloo, New York

Mozaic is searching for an Information Systems Help Desk Technician to join our growing team of professionals!

Technician Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware, applications and peripheral equipment as needed to support staff or contractors.

  • Work with agency staff and/or contractors on developing more efficient methods of doing their job while using agency owned technology or applications.

  • Provide level one network troubleshooting and solutions to correcting equipment communication problems.

  • Create, manage and maintain all agency or contractor accounts within but not limited to Active Directory, Exchange or other Information Systems controlled systems.

  • Setup of computers, peripherals and other technology to support new hires or current staff with necessary technology to support their role within the agency.

  • Research, recommend, and assist with implementation of software and hardware upgrades, patches and fixes.

  • Audit agency computers, users, file access and other HIPAA, NIST, CMMC or compliance requirements that the agency participates with.

  • Responsible for staying up to date with new technology, security policies, applications and other Information Systems related categories to support their ongoing learning within the field.

    Technician Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with at least two (2) years of experience providing hardware and software support to small-to-medium sized companies.

  • Experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Active Directory

  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts or theory preferred

  • Experience with computer hardware, laptop hardware, printers and other business technology preferred.

  • Ability to communicate and work effectively within a team environment.

  • Customer Service oriented with the ability to effectively work with teams outside the IT/IS department.

    Schedule: Full Time • Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

    Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours

    Pay Range: $17.00 - $21.00

    Locations: Waterloo, Penn Yan, Auburn
