JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Brief Responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, and execution of product costs and categories. The main objective is to negotiate competitive cost structures, enabling beneficial cost of goods sold to Shareholders and its customers. WHAT WE OFFER Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Employee product discount PTO & paid holidays 401(k) with company match Profit-sharing Education reimbursement & professional development Employee assistance program A safe, respectful, and inclusive work culture ABOUT THE JOB Develop the category operating plan with guidance and insight from Director of Procurement and support the annual budgeting process for assigned categories Responsible for managing categories, as assigned, of high to intermediate complexity Manage 2 direct reports while training, coaching, and supporting in their development and also the development of the categories Execution and negotiation of supplier bid processes (RFP, RFQ, RFI) Assign category bids to Category Analyst at their discretion Ensure direct reports are actively monitoring supplier key performance indicators Create and deliver category strategies through their own actions and the actions of their direct reports Partner with internal stakeholders to align on company priorities and needs Review or Approve Contracts for Products and Services to be signed at an appropriate level within the organization within policy guidelines for authorized signatories Complete daily approvals in JDE for indirect purchase orders DISCLAIMER The information listed above is not intended to be an all-inclusive job description. ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will have a bachelor\'s degree in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics, or other quantitative discipline with 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in sourcing, contracts, category management, financial and data analysis, or equivalent.Will be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, have project management skills, and data-driven decision making.Previous experience with JD Edwards ERP and Power BI in the manufacturing industry is preferred.Must have the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.Must have a growth-oriented mindset and embrace challenges and push the...
