Job Summary

As the Director of Dining Operations at Colby College, you will oversee café operations, ensuring high standards of sanitation, food quality, and compliance with Bon Appétit and client expectations. This role includes managing Café Managers, conducting inspections, and making key operational decisions while enjoying free meals during shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee café operations, staff training, and development

• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and Bon Appétit standards

• Collaborate with the Executive Chef on high-quality, creative food programs

• Manage budgets, payroll, and operational metrics

• Maintain client relationships and handle guest satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management (preferred)

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in food and beverage

• Strong leadership, communication, and digital literacy skills
