The Accounting Analyst will serve as a hybrid member of the General Ledger Accounting Team and the Finance Shared Services Team. The position will be responsible for various accounting and accounts payable tasks involving month-end close, internal reporting and continuous improvement. The position will report to the Senior Manager – Accounting and assist with various projects necessary to support ongoing business initiatives, as needed.

*This position is onsite at our headquarters in Waukesha, Wisconsin

General Ledger Team Responsibilities – Month End Close

• Calculate & post month end journal entries, including accruals and deferred revenue

• Prepare month over month and vs forecast analysis

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts

• Analyze OPEX ledger accounts to ensure accuracy of the Organization’s financial statements

Accounts Payable Team Responsibilities

• Assist with AP automation improvements by analyzing the inefficiencies and proposing improvements

• Prepare and circulate AP metrics, including past due volumes and AP automation straight through pass rate

• Act as a knowledgeable resource for the AP Specialists to resolve complex transactions

• Facilitate relationships with internal departments to collaborate on new solutions

• Project manage continuous improvement efforts – identify inefficient processes, propose, and implement solutions

Other Miscellaneous Duties

• Aid the Manager with strategic planning for both teams

• Become proficient with SAP to contribute to the success of the role

• Assist with the integration of newly acquired companies from their ERP system into SAP

• Problem solve & execute resolution

• Additional analysis or ad hoc projects, as needed

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience

Work Experience

• Minimum 1-year of relevant accounting or finance experience

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Project management and organizational skills
