The Finance Specialist primarily reviews, approves, and advises on financial transactions and may assist in preparing financial transactions and transaction reconciliation. The Finance Specialist ensures compliance with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations and recommends controls and process improvements. The Finance specialist maintains financial records, provides administrative processing support, and ensures accurate accounting practices are followed by providing high-level service and quality assurance to internal and external customers. The Financial Specialist has limited decision-making with the ability to exercise independent judgement within the scope of planning and carrying out the details of assigned work procedures and methods.
