Starting Hourly Rate Based on Qualifications:\$25.45 JOB SUMMARY, DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONS: Job Summary The Functional Analyst manages and administers Workday Student Information System (SIS) for Student Services with the goal of fostering continuous improvement for end users, improved service to students, and creating operational efficiency for Student Services departments. This role is expected to maintain expertise in the SIS as well as Student Services functional areas including Admissions, Student Records, Registration, Financial Aid, and Academic Advising. The Functional Analyst will recommend new and promising practices, manage programming, setup, and ongoing testing for updates, running/coordinating processes, and quality assurance. Essential Functions and Responsibilities The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily and successfully with or without reasonable accommodation. Data, Reporting & Technical Assistance: Design, run, and analyze reports and dashboards of student data for Student Services teams and leadership. Collaborate with various teams including Client Reporting and Institutional Research to address issues with data quality and consistency. Validate data quality and reasonability of results prior to report delivery. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of SIS and appropriate integrations to assist Student Services teams with technical support for escalated inquiries and troubleshooting issues. Track and assess challenges, identify and recommend long-term solutions. Assist in ensuring alignment with processes as well as federal, state, and local compliance and regulatory requirements.
