JOB REQUIREMENTS: Plant Engineering and Maintenance Manager - R01137549 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Description: Plant Engineering and Maintenance Manager This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. Here, you will make an impact by: * Development and implementation of strategic vision for plant engineering management and operational practices. * Defining and developing a \"Connected Plant Engineering Organization\" in alignment & support of Digital Shop Floor technologies and Industry 4.0 acceleration. * Human capital & resourcing strategy to build the talent pipeline for skilled maintenance craft, maintenance & reliability engineering and plant engineering leadership. * Champion Energy Management team. * Champion for Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) * Leader of the Plant Engineering organization responsible for project planning and execution and organizational development. * Champion for development, communication & deployment of standardized maintenance and reliability metrics & KPI\'s. * Leadership with regards to principle-based leadership to drive equipment uptime while creating a collaborative culture of continuous improvement. * Engage other IMPD plant engineering leadership for alignment and support of latest manufacturing technology advancements. * Plant engineering liaison for 3M Engineering / Capital improvements and the Maintenance Conscious Engineering (MCE) methodology. Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is \$160,284 - \$195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate\'s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. Equal Opportunity Employer-minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor\'s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution * Six (6) years of combined experience in manufacturing engineer, process engineer, product engineer plant engineering, maintenance and reliability, manufacturing operations, supply chain, quality or EHS in a private, public, government or military environment. * Three (3) years of supervisory experience in manufacturing operations in a private, public, government or military environment.
