DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, you will lead and supervise our psychological staff, shape new policies and procedures, and provide crucial support to inmates needing mental health services. Your expertise in screening, evaluation, counseling, and crisis intervention will be vital in guiding incarcerated individuals to establish and achieve treatment goals, empowering them to improve their mental well-being. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment; 37.5 hour work week. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist; or One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, mental retardation or behavioral dysfunction.

Special Requirements:

You must have possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with out-of-state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment.

Other Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
