Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Job Description

The Human Resources Coordinator will act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the National Attendance Program (NAP). This position ensures the administration of Family Medical Leave (FMLA), Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA), and tardiness in accordance with the national agreement, company policy, applicable regulations, company practice, and local contractual agreements. Key responsibilities include developing a deep knowledge of contract language on attendance requirements, investigating employee attendance records, creating and publishing daily progress/status updates, conducting meetings, administering corrective action, auditing attendance/tardiness timekeeping codes, and maintaining all required documentation related to FMLA administration. The coordinator will also serve as a liaison between various stakeholders and identify opportunities to streamline and improve attendance processes. Availability to work all shifts, including day, night, and weekend shifts, is required.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, WebEx Teams)

  • Strong knowledge of contract language on attendance requirements

  • Ability to investigate and audit attendance records

  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills

  • Capability to conduct meetings and administer corrective action

  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
