Vanguard seeking an experienced Connectivity Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure. As a Connectivity Network Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our networks.Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls

• Configure and troubleshoot network devices, protocols, and services (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS)

• Ensure network security, compliance, and governance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize network needs

• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards

• Participate in on-call rotation for network support

Requirements:5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on connectivityStrong understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, and technologiesExperience with Juniper and/or Cisco network devices and softwareProficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or Terraform (huge plus)Strong knowledge of network security and compliance requirementsExcellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:Experience with network automation and orchestration toolsKnowledge of cloud networking and hybrid environmentsAzure Express Route/And/or AWS Direct Connect a plus

Certification in network engineering (e.g., JNCIP, CCNP)Experience with agile development methodologies
