Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in the detail oriented Services industry located in Weatherford, Texas. In this role, you will be required to handle various accounting tasks, including processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and resolving financial inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting journal entries for financial transactions • Carrying out bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records • Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes • Overseeing General Ledger activities and ensuring all entries are accurate • Performing Month End Close procedures to finalize accounts for the period • Utilizing QuickBooks for accounting and financial management tasks • Managing payroll processes and ensuring timely and accurate payouts • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary • Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently • Maintaining accurate customer credit records.

• Demonstrated experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Strong understanding of the General Ledger system

• Capable of preparing and analyzing Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines

• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and regulations

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Must have the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
