Aerotek General Warehouse Laborer - 18hr in Weaverville, North Carolina

Aerotek is hiring Assemblers for a medical manufacturing company in Asheville, NC ! 1st shift openings with overtime available. Apply to this posting and you will be contacted in 24 hours

Position: Assembler

Location: Asheville, NC

Pay/Shift: $18/hr

  • Monday - Friday

  • 6:30am - 4:30pm (10 hr shift)

  • OT on Saturdays as needed

Description:

  • Select appropriate components to align and assemble them in accurate sequence by drilling holes, adding rivets, screws, bolts, braces, tape, cement or solder to meet specifications

  • Read electrical wiring diagrams to accomplish accurate assembly

  • Inspect parts during sub-assembly and at key points to ensure the unit meets specified quality standards prior to moving unit to the next workstation

  • Use a wide range of hand tools, including, but not limited to drill, rivet gun, drill press

  • Test assembled units; clean and pack final product

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 6 mo experience in a manufacturing setting

  • Must be comfortable with submitting to a drug test (post-offer, pre-employment)
