Position Description:

CGI, one of the largest independent technology and business consulting services firms globally, is seeking a customer-focused IT Leader to manage our IT services team for one of our longest-tenured customers. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for customer satisfaction and a deep understanding of P&C Insurance best practices. Your future duties and responsibilities:

Leverage solid experience implementing best IT practices in support of our customer’s IT solutions. Ensuring the team is following best practices in the areas of: Service Request Management, application support, application enhancements and project management of larger IT initiatives. We need a leader experienced in working directly with P&C business Functional leads to facilitate requirements gathering, scheduling routine releases (Rate Filings, Compliance and Statutory reporting), leading the team to produce designs for enabling business requirements and overseeing the delivering of the solutions (enhancements and projects). This candidate will be responsible for reporting overall status of Request Management, Incident Management, application maintenance, project management and performance against SLAs. The candidate is responsible for ensuring the team follows both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Adherence to both the clients and CGI’s governances is critical.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Responsible for motivating and directing a global IT team of BAs, developers, testers and PMs in a manner that ensures the customer meets their objectives in a profitable manner for CGI. Technologies include older RPG/AS400 legacy and Java based solutions.

This candidate must possess deep knowledge of how IT systems enable the following P&C industry LoBs and functionality:

Personal Lines: Auto & Home Regulator requirement Rate filings and form filings ISO & AAIS Rating and rate order calculations Common 3rd party integrations LexisNexis: CLUE, Credit Transunion Carfax On-line payments Rating Claims Billing Enable P&C Business roles UW, Actuarial (Market Pricing), Product, Finance, Business Development, Claims, Insurance Ops Agency/Producer enablement (quoting, binding and servicing Carrier’s business)

The candidate must understand the recuring needs of P&C business roles such as rate filings, compliance, statutory reporting.

The candidate must possess the following IT experience:

• Service Request Management

• Support Management Ensuring there is updated documentation to enable both users and IT support teams Maintain up to date contact list for all client business departments impacted by systems the team supports Manage Maintenance and Statistical Production Support (PS) incidents Support Client and CGI Audit requests

• Release Management (support, enhancements and projects)

• Reporting Bi-Weekly MAPFRE Governance meetings, including updating Governance slides used by MAPFRE IT Oversight for executive reporting Manage, track and report SLAs and Project status to the customer and CGI

• Project management for small and large enhancement projects

• Team Management Manage CGI team capacity to align with customer demand Manage, track and report team’s adherence to budget Ensure adherence to Client tools such as JIRA, Octane, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, etc Ensure coverage of regression testing using TOSCA Automation Mentor and guide team members, contribute to performance reviews and development plans

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $106,200 -$209,100.
