DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Aid in design and build of Electrical Harness assemblies

• Assemble and maintain test stands, both mechanically and electrically

• Manage and maintain lab areas

• Work with engineers to provide guidance and recommendations on design for manufacturability

• Work collaboratively with engineering, support detailed test activity planning, test readiness reviews, and flight support as needed

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience

• Associates degree or certification with 15 years in Electrical/Mechanical assembly experience

• Familiar with metallic and non-metallic modeling/hardware assembly

• Familiar with harness and cable hardware assembly, Mil-Spec qualified connector crimp and solder assembly (MIL-DTL-38999, etc.)

• Knowledge of Pressure and Electrical Systems preferred

• Able to use basic and advanced hand tools, measuring devices

• Measure twice, cut once mentality

• Some machining knowledge/skills

• Must be able to comprehend and provide input to procedures, drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, P&ID’s, hazard analyses, and job safety analyses

• Able to abide by all Axiom/NASA safety requirements

• Ability to handle multiple assignments and work in a dynamic environment

• Occasional travel may be required

• Perform other duties and assignments as required

Requirements

• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

• Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. (5% of the time).
