Role Description We are looking for a Robotics and Automation expert who will create our automation strategy and capabilities for scaling production. As part of our Assembly Manufacturing Engineering team, you will work closely with the product design team to develop manufacturing-ready products and create initial manufacturing processes. This role will be located at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV, which is just a short drive outside of Pittsburgh, PA What you'll do:

Lead the design and development of robotics and automation systems to streamline manufacturing processes and improve overall efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing engineers to integrate robotics and automation solutions into existing systems.

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the potential benefits and challenges of implementing robotics and automation technologies.

Design, program, and implement robotic systems using various technologies such as robotic arms, vision systems, sensors, and actuators.

Develop and optimize control algorithms and software for robotic systems to ensure accurate and efficient operation.

Manage projects from concept to completion, including defining project requirements, creating project plans, and coordinating resources to meet project milestones and deadlines.

Stay current with advancements in robotics and automation technologies, and recommend innovative solutions to improve manufacturing processes and achieve business objectives.
