Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented project engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bluebeam, take-offs, and AutoCAD, as well as a strong understanding of construction bidding processes. As a project engineer you will be responsible for accurately reading and deciphering bids and project requirements to determine the cost estimates for construction projects.. This role is a blend of office and field work assisting with underground utilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Construction Estimator or in a related role within the construction industry.

• Proficiency in using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and other construction estimating software.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to accurately perform take-offs and cost calculations.

• Solid understanding of construction bidding processes and project requirements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically.

• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.

• Familiarity with value engineering concepts and cost-saving strategies.
