Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering design, a current Professional Engineer (PE) license or a commitment to obtaining one, and proficiency in design software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design civil engineering projects, including site development, roadway design, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure.

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project compliance with design specifications and standards.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

• Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools to create and modify project designs.

• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support project designs.

• Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.

• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and drafters.

• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering design.

• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license or intention to pursue one, with an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, standards, and practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed. null
