Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW The Manfucaturing Supervisor provides safety and servant-based leadership to achieve breakthrough production results on a specific production shift. This position is also accountable for developing and delivering the rigorous application of foundational systems. The Team Leader is accountable for driving out losses using rigorous Problem Solving and developing the plan for the shift. They will have ownership of Safety, Quality, and System Performance and support platform teams. This position may be used to support open Team Leading position on any shift. The Manfucaturing Supervisor owns ensuring the development of the operating teams' technical capability, and safety leadership. 80% of a Team Leader's Day will be spent on the floor with the operators building the capability of the people in their area. This position provides daily direction to the Operators to deliver breakthrough results and is ultimately accountable for the results of the shift. The Team Lead will build capability in the Operators role and drive out loss. This role will be tired to either 2nd or 3rd shift. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Leadership Shift Owner - Manager of People Owns Human and Food safety Builds capability in production operators, in order to identify, measure and drive out losses on their equipment Supports Platform Teams Owns identifying training gaps for the production operators on the shift as well as developing and ensuring execution of training plan to address these gaps Owns shift overlaps process including: Leads Safety discussions in meeting Communication team recognition Updates the team on a weekly basis online performance Ensures operators are compliant with human and food safety training Coach, develop, and inspire work group to achieve required Human Safety, Food Safety, and Production Results Establish and sustain sound relationships with all employees to foster an inclusive environment Loss Elimination Lead and Coach Zero Loss Culture tool usage such as Why / Why and Fishbone RCA Facilitates development of the operators People Leadership Daily staffing Directing work of operators Shift Hand-offs Onboarding of employees Team Development Own accuracy of shift MQIS data MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1-2 years of manufacturing experience or technical degree Working knowledge of data systems including MAXIMO, MQIS, INSQL, and GSTEMS Demonstrated capability in application of Foundational Systems Demonstrated basic technical capability PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree Previous leadership experience Previous management of people experience ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $68700.00 - $103200.00 / Annually.
