Northern Lights Candles Creative Services & Marketing Manager in Wellsville, New York

Creative Services & Marketing Manager will manage the Creative Services and Marketing staff in the development of visual design solutions that drive brand and business directives. Develops strategies for engaging and effective product launches that align with the other Product Development managers. Presents proposals and oversees creation of brand collateral for company and community events, trade shows and digital platforms. Reports to the Director of Product Development.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:DESIGN:Critique and provide direction to internal and contracted copywriters, photographers and graphic designers in the design of original, artistic and campaign-based content for use across physical and digital mediaEstablish guidelines to ensure visual continuity of the brand across platformsCreate fresh and innovative marketing content that enhances the stand-out product designs NL is known in the market forStrategize and present to Sales effective and visually appealing solutions for selling toolsOther duties as assignedCONTENT MANAGEMENT:Work alongside Legal and IT to ensure content being published is compliantWork with Sales, and IT In the tracking, publishing and continuity of product information across internal and external platforms.Develop engaging and on-brand selling features and copy for upcoming launches with product information provided by the 2D and 3D teams and marketing insight.Other duties as assigned STRATEGY & MANAGEMENTManage communication with marketing consultants to retrieve campaign, traffic and demographic analytics to leverage content creation to grow the brand and ECommerce sales.Research and report on competitor’s visual communication strategies and market trendsAssign each campaign among Graphic Designers and Marketing staff using project management software to ensure project details and timelines are metEstablish project scope and priority of assigned tasks/projectsDevelop print vendor relationships and oversee production and quality of print materialsManage and negotiate project costs to ensure budget parameters are metManage the organization and fulfillment of photography requests for the Sample image database, ARC and D365Grow a team of creatives and perpetuate an environment of artistic growth within a collaborative environmentOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:BA/BFA or equivalent experience required; 5+ Years’ Experience in Art Direction, Graphic Design or related field.Management experience requiredExcellent computer skills using email, Microsoft Office, project management software and virtual communication platformsCompetency in Adobe CC SuitePhotography and Photo Staging skills requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and proofreadingMust have high color sensitivityMust be creative, detail oriented, and highly organized with a problem solver mindsetMust be a tenacious question asker who does not wait for informationProfessional, career oriented and self-motivatedExperience in the print production processWillingness to attend company functions and events as needed including occasional weekends & travel opportunitiesStrong portfolio demonstrating knowledge of composition, layout, typography, and branding

Minimum Salary: 60000 Maximum Salary: 65000 Salary Unit: Yearly
