PacAero's core businesses include an array of electronic connectors and housings for the world's most extreme environments. PacAero is primarily located in Wenatchee, WA with a remote manufacturing site, Bonded Metals, located in Sequim, WA. Working together, we employ proprietary technologies, best practices engineering, and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the world's most extreme environments. PacAero's products are hard at work in medical components, such as cardiac-function devices, on key aerospace & defense programs, in space and deep below the earth's surface.

 

The Position:

The Safety Administrator is responsible for providing safety support to the EHS Department. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining safety records, coordinating training programs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Safety Administrator reports to the EHS Manager and collaborates with various departments to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage administrative functions of the Safety Department 

Managing workers' compensation claims in compliance with Washington State regulations

Coordinate with the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries on claim-related matters

Assist the Safety Manager in developing and implementing safety policies 

Coordinate and schedule safety training sessions and maintain training records 

Organize and maintain safety-related documentation, ensuring easy accessibility 

Process safety-related paperwork, including incident reports and safety audits

Prepare and distribute safety communications across the organization 

Assist in budget preparation and tracking for the Safety Department 

Coordinate safety committee meetings, including scheduling and minute-taking 

Manage inventory of safety equipment, reordering as necessary 

Compile and analyze safety statistics for monthly and annual reports 

Maintain OSHA logs and assist with regulatory reporting requirements 

Liaise with other departments to gather safety-related information 

Assist in organizing safety events and awareness campaigns 

Manage the department's calendar, including deadlines for inspections and audits 

Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
